Frequently Asked Questions
1) I'm a complete beginner!!! Will I be able to do the course?
Our beginners courses are designed for those who have never danced before, or who are returning to dance and looking for a fun way to keep fit. The instructors will slowly take you through the basic steps and techniques and by the end of the course you will be amazed at how far you have come! Don't worry if you have two left feet, most people on our beginners courses have no previous experience. Confident beginners may also take our General level courses which cater for all levels up to General level.
2) How do I join a class?
Our classes are split into 3 terms per year:
3) What age groups come to the courses?
Our adult courses are open to everyone over the age of 18. We have a mix of guys and girls on the courses, ranging from 18-80 but as a rough guide the majority of people fall into the 20-40 age range and the classes are 90% female.
4) What should I wear?
You should wear loose comfortable clothing. A t-shirt, tracksuit trousers and a pair of trainers is ideal. We also recommend you bring a bottle of water to the class to refresh yourself.
5) Can I just turn up and pay on the day?
You need to book your classes in advance, and we recommend doing so at least 1 week prior to the start date. We ask you to book in advance to avoid the cancellation of undersubscribed courses occuring. You can book online or by calling us on 0845 956 9730. Our teachers cannot take payments on our behalf so please don't take money to the class on the day.
6) Can I pay per class or do I have to buy a course?
All our classes run in blocks of 12 weeks and need to be purchased as a term of classes. If you are starting classes later than the start date, the remaining classes for that term should be paid for in full. We offer a MONEY BACK GUARANTEE so you don't have to worry about the suitability of your class. Remember that payment equals commitment so you'll benefit from the incentive to get to class and get moving every week!

8) How does the Money Back Guarantee work?
The Money Back Guarantee applies to all our 12 week courses only. We're confident you'll love the class and want to carry on, but just in case you turn up to the first class of your course and find the class is not for you, don't worry. Just email us with your booking details within 48 hours of the class and we'll refund you the balance of your payment. For example, if your class starts at 7.30pm on Wednesday you need to notify us by 7.30pm on Friday to get a refund (less the payment for the one class) You don't need to give a reason, but we always appreciate the feedback you give us! If you have started your class later than the term start date the Money Back Guarantee applies to your first class only. Your payment will be refunded directly to the card or account with which you paid and you'll be notified by email of your refund. NB - The Money Back Guarantee does not apply if you fail to attend the course at all and only applies to the first class you booked. For all other cancellations, we regret that we cannot offer a refund, but we will endeavour to transfer your booking to credits if you cancel before the start of your course. We cannot transfer to credits for courses that have already started.
